AET is no exception and, behind-the-scenes in our Information Processing unit,
todays technology works to the benefit of our clients by improving documentation
flow and reducing waiting time to a minimum. In addition to email and internet
connections, electronic telex and fax equipment AET operates a very advanced shipping
agency. These processes are software system with full Arabic translation facilities,
specially tailored to the unique documentation needs of the Kingdom. With this software,
EDIFACT standard transmission systems and data- carriers, such as GE or Mercury, we
receive manifest and cargo information electronically from all parts of the world.
Telexed, faxed and cabled cargo arrival notifications to consignees are also transmitted
automatically saving time and avoiding postal delays service features which give
the shipping lines we represent the level of service and commitment they and their
customers have come to expect.
Our accounting system, fully integrated with the agency software, gives
us fast, accurate financial and statistical information to pass on to Principals. We can
offer "paper free" accounting option where required. |
